What if it snows or rains?
Some cold and rain will stop us. If there is a dusting or more than an inch of snow we will
delay work until the next day or two, or when the snow melts. If there is snow on the ground
and no new snow falls, we will resume regularly scheduled service. If the weather is extremely
cold, we will reschedule service. We will usually continue to work in the rain, but if there is a
heavy, steady rainfall, or continuous lightening we will stop and reschedule the work for later
in the week.
Which holidays do you not work?
We do not work on the following holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day. When a holiday
falls on a regular service day, we will notify you in advance of the work schedule for that
holiday. Service will return to the regular day the following week.
Should I unlock my gate?
Our workers are not permitted to jump or climb over fences. Please have your gate unlocked
the day of service. If your gate is locked or the dog will not let us in to clean the yard, it may be
necessary to charge for the service call. The service call charge will be billed as one half of the
cost of your normal weekly charge.
Can you work with the dog in the yard?
Our workers get along well with dogs and most of the time can work with the dog in the yard.
Sometimes the dog will not let the worker in the yard. If you know that your dog does not
accept strangers in your yard, or if it is visible that your dog will not let us clean the yard, we ask
that you restrain or confine your dog. We don't want to take preventable risks with your dog or
our workers.
Why should I have my yard scooped?
Pet Waste does not just melt or float away if you don’t pick it up. It just lays there and breeds
flies and disease ( Salmonellosis , Toxocariasis & Toxoplasmosis among others ). It is not
fertilizer, it will burn your lawn because of the excess nitrogen in dog poop.
Does Buzzer's Lawn Service Not! require a contract? No. We start and stop the service over the
phone. There is no minimum service period and no advance notice is required to cancel
service.
